 |  Mike Demko, Br. John Bielen, Maurice Weaver, Gil Figueroa & Alfred Fiorentino with their Championship Plaque. In the first metric DMR at Penn. Power's time of 10:02.1 set a new meet record. This is superior to the 10:05.6 time set by the 1967 Essex Catholic team (anchored by Marty Liquori). Mike Demko ran a leadoff 800m of 1:59.9 followed Gil Figueroa's 400m leg of 49.1. In one of his greatest performances, Al Fiorentino clocked 3:21.0 for 1300m. Maurice Weaver ran a 3:51.7 1500m anchor. |
